Casa de Fruta 013: Departure

Lynne and Barbara get into the minivan. Shortly after this picture was taken, we all drove up to Sequoia National Park.

Casa de Fruta 012: Casa de Zoo

The sounds (and smells) of unrestful animals pervaded the parking lot. The small sign on the left reads "Pacheco Creec Mining Co. Sluicing Operation and Rock Shop".

Casa de Fruta 011: Fish Pond Bird

Casa de Fruta 011: Fish Pond Bird

A small bird drinks — and possibly dines — at the pond. I'm not sure if it eats the fish; it seems a very small bird for that, but then again, some of the fish were very small as well.

More fish.

Casa de Fruta 007: Haunted Tunnel

The danger from the haunted tunnel is primarily just being struck by the train.

Casa de Fruta 005: Restrooms

Casa de Fruta 005: Restrooms

The experienced traveler learns to note the location of restrooms wherever they appear. These are just across the street from the front entrance.

Casa de Fruta 008: Fish Pond 1

Casa de Fruta 008: Fish Pond 1

Just past the haunted tunnel is a small pond full of very small fish.

Casa de Fruta 004: Front Entrance

Casa de Fruta 004: Front Entrance

We didn't actually go in through the front entrance, which goes to the gift shop area. We went in through the side entrance, which takes you directly to the fruit.
