Fortunately, I caught the ISO problem before I left the beach, and took a few more pictures.

On the way back to San Diego, we stopped at a beach where the wind was blowing so strongly that the spray was blowing backwards over the waves in great billows.

Can you find the seagull in this picture?

I unfortunately left the camera set to ISO1600 from the previous night, and couldn't get the noise out of this shot without destroying the spray detail.
