An elven man in brightly colored clothing was resting against a wooden roadblock, staring at a large patch of grass at the side of the road with a light, wistful smile.
"I still think it would have been a better location," he said to nobody in particular, then sighed and stood up. After a moment, he turned and looked north, past the roadblock.
"A life begun, and a life ended." He chuckled. "So much happens in the turning of a moon. Ah, Ryudo, Ellie, I came back for you, though the road calls me again. I hope your family does well. As for you, Fox..." He grinned and looked skywards. "I don't need to wish you well. I just wish I knew where you were, so I could mark on my maps, 'Here There Be Dragons'. And maybe in another moon, it won't matter to me so much."
At that, the elf hefted his travel bags and guitar case, and started walking down the road, humming.
