As someone rightly pointed out, these games aren't much use without the manuals, and thus there was no real point "cracking" them. Thus, you can (and should) buy them here:
Games Outlet at $24.95
Or UK buyers can try here:
Interdata Developments at £24.95.
Oh yeah, and I never said what I did was 'genius', in fact it was quite easy.
You can find an interpreter for pretty much any machine here.
You can find scanned manuals and 'feelies' here.
Copy protection: In the case of Leather Goddesses of Phobos, just download the textfile containing the relevant details (the maze solution).
Lurking Horror: Any username, any password
Mind Forever Voyaging: 'Class One Security Mode Access Decoder' protection. You will always be asked to enter the code corresponding to WHITE 89, which is of course 12.
Bureaucracy: You can give any answer to the Paranoid's questions.
Sorcerer: Removed Infotator protection. Current code is Bloodworm, white, gray, black, red, black.
Spellbreaker: Belboz's question is "Which mage had the motto, 'The hardest trick is making it look easy.'?" answer is Barsap.
Stationfall: Just enter any GST heading when you launch the shuttle.
Zork Zero: The guttering/muttering/etc torches never mutter or gutter, and they never go out either, so you are never without a source of light (you do lose points this way admittedly).
I would recommend reading the documentation before playing the games, this way you can become acquianted with the atmosphere, and you won't have any problems answering the questions it asks (although it shouldn't ask any).
Download the EGA files for the Z6 games. Rename from '.zip' to '.eg1' and '.eg2'.
