It's a couple months late, but I'm finally getting around to putting down my memories of this.

The first time I met Pixel, she was still recovering from surgery, and wasn't yet full grown, and her personality was somewhat different from when I most recently spent time with her. When Lynne and I walked through the door she came up almost fearlessly to greet Lynne, and when I put down my bags and sat down to take off my shoes, she came up to me to sniff me out and purred. That's very rare for Pixel, who doesn't seem to purr except in extreme circumstances. Lynne suspects she might have just been purring because she was in pain from the surgery (I'm not sure why they call it getting 'fixed' — she wasn't broken to begin with). During my first stay, she happily allowed me to pet her and wasn't at all bothered by my presence.
