I originally thought it was a hawk, but Lynne pointed out that it looked much more like a turkey vulture, once I had enhanced the image. Of a dozen or so shots, only two were tolerable, and none were good, but I'm actually reasonably happy with what I actually managed to get, considering that I was shooting from a lightweight and soft telephoto zoom lens by hand.
