This is a 4 second exposure at f/5.6 and ISO400, or what you can obtain with a compact digital camera or consumer film; compare to the shot at &lt;a href=&quot;/node/464&quot;&gt;1/8s black square&lt;/a&gt; to see what it would be at a shutter speed stable without a tripod, or  the &lt;a href=&quot;/node/457&quot;&gt;ISO3200 tripod-mounted shot&lt;/a&gt; to see that you can do this in only half a second by increasing the sensor sensitivity.&lt;/p&gt;
