For the first time today, an photo I had up in the image galleries that wasn't one of mine received a comment. It was a positive comment, and I suppose I did a good thing by lighting up someone's day, but it finally brought home that I'm visible enough now on the net that I can't really use the main site to store things really meant only for personal viewing; primary nodes here are searchable, well indexed by Google, and can generate a noticeable amount of distribution over time. That finally got me to go through and remove just about everything for which I couldn't find attribution, the exception being the images in the Funny gallery, which is clearly labeled as a gallery of the funny stuff floating around the net, and has images at little risk of being mistaken for something of mine.
