Image shrinkage
It seems that the image sizes listed below the photograph are inaccurate. In fact, they link to images exactly one-half expected size. Great image, though! I may ask you one day for a permission to print a large copy for hanging on a wall of my house.
Image sizes
The image sizes listed are constraints, that is that they guarantee that the image will not exceed those dimensions. This works out about right for images in landscape orientation, but breaks down a bit for portrait, since you hit the constraint on the shorter y axis.
Since the images are 2:3 vertical, they will of course end up exactly one half the width of a 4:3 screen resolution.
You'll probably want my 16-bit .psd for resizing and printing, depending on what size you want to print at. Let me know if you find a good printing place locally.
